Introduction
This annual grass from Africa was domesticated in the Ethiopian Highlands for its seeds. For some reason it was hydroseeded on sand preload fill used for a new highway in Surrey. It apparently did not persist past the year it was seeded (Lomer 8956 @ UBC) except for waifs.
